Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) — Through a Clinical Lens

From showering to grooming, mobility to meals—our BeeHive nurses assist with daily routines while observing for subtle changes in health.

  • Encouraging individual participation with personal hygiene, toileting, dressing
  • Observing for any fluctuations in mobility, assistance with fall prevention
  • Checking for changes in swallow and speech patterns during feeding
  • Skin integrity checks during bathing
  • Monitoring for signs of cognitive or functional decline

Complex Wound Care

We specialise in the management of acute and chronic wounds, including pressure injuries, diabetic ulcers, post-operative wounds, and skin tears.

  • Experts in Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT)

Medication Management

Safe and accurate medication administration is at the heart of all nursing practice.

  • Oral, subcutaneous, topical, and eye/ear drop administration

  • Medication prompts, full medication assistance and  implementing behaviour plans to keep medications safe. 

  • Liaison with pharmacies and GPs to ensure that any changes to medication orders are reflected real time in the home

Diabetes Support and management

At BeeHive Nursing Services, we understand that managing diabetes is more than just numbers—it’s about daily decisions, personal routines, and ongoing support.

Our qualified nurses provide evidence-based diabetes management tailored to each client’s health goals, lifestyle, and care needs. This includes:

  • Regular blood glucose monitoring either in person or remotely using CGM
